Patch reported in October 2025 that the town began rebuilding the park’s aging tennis and basketball courts, with the Town Council approving $100,000 for the first phase and Parks and Recreation Director Marty Sitler describing surfaces so worn that cracks in the tennis courts ran three to four inches wide. Local reporting since then has discussed dual-striping a rebuilt tennis court for pickleball.
