What is the difference between the PPA Tour and MLP?
The PPA Tour is an individual circuit where pros compete week to week in singles, doubles and mixed for ranking points and prize money. Major League Pickleball (MLP) is a team league: franchises draft rosters and play a team format that settles ties with a Dreambreaker singles decider. Many top pros play both.
What is the MLP Dreambreaker?
The Dreambreaker is the MLP tiebreaker. When a team match is tied after the four regular games, it goes to a single winner-take-all game of rotating singles, so one point can decide the whole match.
