Lisa Palcic

Lisa Palcic is a certified pickleball coach based in Mariaville, Maine.

I have been in the athletics industry for 35+ years. I have run several facilities both tennis and pickleball. I helped open and run The Oregon Pickleball Academy and Pickleball Zone Bend as their head pro and facility Director. I have been teaching and playing pickleball since 2009. Throughout my career I played 5.0 and pro level pickleball. Lee Whitwell, world #1 senior player and I were doubles partners and played pro together at many tournaments. I retired from play in 2020 due to a back and shoulder injury. Teaching is my passion and I have put much of my career into learning proper body and stroke mechanics for every shot. I teach each player as an individual and take much pride in helping every player reach their potential no matter their age or level. I have taught well over 10,000 players of every level. I have been with the since the first year it began. I have helped the with many special programs. I co created the rating system with Rif. I have made many training videos for the and am currently working on their continuing education offerings. I wrote a book in 2025 called “The Complete Illustrated Guide to Pickleball”. I travel all over to do teaching certifications as well as pickleball facility consultations. I have taught many large pickleball camps including camps with Tyson McGuffin, Kyle Mckenzie, Lee Whitwell, Michelle Esquivel and many other well known pros. I’m currently based in Maine but I have several clubs that I travel and teach for regularly in New Hampshire, Oregon, North Carolina, New York and Massachusetts. My passion is helping each player, teaching pro and facility reach its full potential.
