Two options carry the city. The YMCA of Central Massachusetts runs indoor pickleball with open play and programming — a dependable year-round home, especially in winter. For free outdoor play, Holmes Field has public courts; it’s modest at a couple of courts, but it’s free and first-come. Worcester’s dedicated public court supply hasn’t quite caught up to demand yet, so for a bigger session most regulars head just outside the city — and it’s a quick drive.
