Axel Morgan, a freshman studying business (from San Antonio, Texas), was one of the standout players of the 2026 NCPA Massachusetts Regional. A second-generation player with eight years in the sport, his backhand at the kitchen line powered Boston University’s deep run and pushed eventual champion Harvard to a seven-game, sudden-death semifinal — even while playing through a wrapped ankle. BU earned a Division 1 Nationals bid.
