Quick answer: Here are the new pickleball courts in Connecticut that moved forward the week of October 12, 2026. Boston Pickle Club opened a 12-court indoor club in Windsor. Danbury approved extra parking for an 8-court indoor club on Apple Ridge Road. Wilton expects four new lighted outdoor courts to be finished by late November.

The 30-second version

  • Windsor: Boston Pickle Club is open at 20 Day Hill Road with 12 indoor courts and a bar.
  • Danbury: Court House Pickle + Golf got the city’s OK for 70 more parking spaces. No opening date yet.
  • Wilton: $300,000 for four lighted outdoor courts, done by late November, according to the contractor.
  • Why it matters: two new indoor options before winter, and one more town adding free outdoor courts.

Which new pickleball courts in Connecticut are open now?

Boston Pickle Club’s Windsor location is open now. The company held its grand opening weekend on October 10 and 11 at a 37,000-square-foot club at 20 Day Hill Road, Patch reported.

  • Courts: 12 indoor courts with cushioned surfaces and ceilings over 20 feet.
  • Extras: a pro shop, full bar, outdoor patio, locker rooms with showers and a players’ lounge.
  • Programs: leagues, tournaments, lessons, clinics, open play and youth programs.

There’s a New England angle here. Windsor is the club’s third location and its first outside Massachusetts. The other two are in Boston’s Hyde Park neighborhood and Norwell. We covered the plan in September in our Boston Pickle Club Windsor preview.

What is planned for indoor pickleball in Danbury?

Danbury approved 70 extra parking spaces for a planned indoor pickleball and simulator golf club at 36 Apple Ridge Road, next to the new Danbury High School West, the News-Times reported on October 13.

The club, Court House Pickle + Golf, is planned for a 30,000-square-foot space. A promotional video shows eight pickleball courts, four golf simulators, a mezzanine viewing deck, a gym, a café and a pro shop. The building already had 250 parking spaces, but the club needed more.

No opening date has been set. The city’s economic development office and the landlord both told the paper they didn’t know one. Until it opens, our Danbury pickleball guide lists where to play now.

When will the new Wilton pickleball courts open?

Wilton has not given an opening date. Parks and Recreation Director Steve Pierce told the town’s Parks and Recreation Commission on October 13 that construction would start later in the month and be done by late November, according to the contractor.

  • The project: four outdoor courts with lights.
  • The money: $300,000, moved up from the Fiscal Year 2029 budget into the town’s Fiscal Year 2027 bonding plan.
  • The delay: Pierce said town counsel rewrote the contract three times.
  • Demand: the existing courts at the Comstock Community Center are “in continuous use,” Pierce said.

Will the Wilton courts have electronic locks?

Maybe. Pierce said the department is looking at electronic locks that registered residents would open with a keypad code or a key card. The same system would let the town track how much the courts get used. He is also looking at an electronic sign to show walk-ins whether a court is free, which he called “a real dream down the road.”

Neither idea is a decision yet. Keypad locks would be unusual for New England town courts, which are almost always open and first come, first served.

Where can Connecticut players find more courts?

Start with our Connecticut pickleball hub and the indoor pickleball in Connecticut list, which matters more as November gets cold. For the biggest indoor club in the state, see our breakdown. Wilton players can also use our Ridgefield and Norwalk guides. Towns that want courts of their own should read our guide to pickleball court grants.
