Indoor pickleball in Rhode Island
When winter shuts down the outdoor courts, Rhode Island has indoor courts around Providence and Warwick that keep the compact Ocean State playing all winter. Pickleball Clubs in Rhode Island
Rhode Island is the biggest surprise in New England pickleball. It is the smallest state in the country, and it has more clubs per square mile — and more organized league play — than anywhere else in the region.

- Providence Pickleball — Roger Williams Park. 3 courts and over 100 members, with playing memberships and court reservations.
- South Kingstown Recreation Center — Wakefield. Indoor drop-in play through the town rec center. Courts & hours →
Pickleball Leagues in Rhode Island
For a state this size, Rhode Island has remarkable league depth — ladders, round robins and multi-week seasons across several clubs.
- Fore Court — Cumberland. The most complete league program in New England: a Monday doubles round robin and a Saturday ladder (both roughly 2.75–3.75 DUPR), a Drill & Play series, and the multi-week RI Pickleball Tour for 2.0 through 4.0+.
- SFAC Pickleball — downtown Providence. Three tracks: an intro program for true beginners, a beginner and advanced-beginner ladder, and a 3.5 ladder league. Winners move up a court each round.
- Newport Pickleball Club — Middletown. Six-week league sessions for members and non-members.
- Ocean State Pickleball — Narragansett. Men’s, women’s and mixed leagues.
- Lil’ Rhody Pickleball Club — North Kingstown. Member leagues across indoor and outdoor courts.
