🏆 Part of our New England pickleball tournaments guide.
Massachusetts hosts more pickleball tournaments than any other New England state — and the calendar keeps growing. From Greater Boston clubs to Worcester, the Central Mass scene, and out to the Pioneer Valley, there’s a bracket for every level. I’m Jason Regan, your USA Pickleball Ambassador for North Central Massachusetts — here’s how to find and play tournaments across the Bay State.
The Massachusetts tournament scene
The Bay State’s tournament activity clusters around Greater Boston and the metro suburbs, the fast-growing Worcester and Central Mass clubs, and the Pioneer Valley out west. You’ll find everything from relaxed rec-level round robins to USA Pickleball–sanctioned events that feed official ratings. Most run outdoors spring through fall, with dedicated indoor facilities hosting winter brackets.
Where to find & register for Massachusetts tournaments
New tournaments are posted and filled on a few national platforms. Search these for events near you and register online:
- Pickleball Brackets — the most-used registration platform; filter by state and date.
- PickleballTournaments.com — larger and sanctioned events.
- USA Pickleball — official sanctioned-tournament calendar.
We curate the New England weekend slate in The Weekly Serve — one email a week with upcoming tournaments, court openings, and deals.

Want to be tournament-ready?
Tournament points are won with patience, not power. I run private lessons and clinics in Central Mass focused on the soft game — dinks, resets, and the third-shot drop — that holds up under bracket pressure.
